Internet poker has become globally famous lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer saying "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the other players acquire 5 cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s initial card, you need to either make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes directly to the dealer. After the wager comes the showdown. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a figure in accordance with the initial bet. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The bank pays chips even with your wager and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
