Caribbean Poker Regulations and Tricks

Poker has become world famous as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or other types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer broadcasting "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players attain five cards. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you need to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original bet, which means that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your bet goes instantly to the casino. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, with an amount equal to the initial bet. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The bank pays cash equal to your wager and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
