Newcomer Strategy for Double-Hand Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the western in a great game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the house, unlike the majority of other poker games that players play with other players. By gambling against the dealer, new players don’t need to fret about any other, more experienced players winning their money.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make quick selections.

It is also easier to bet on for an extended time with just a small bit of money since, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the casino receives 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a two card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
