Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the west in a fantastic game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the dealer, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By wagering against the dealer, starting players do not have to worry about other, more knowledgeable players winning their moolla.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game play, novices will be able to take their time and plan without having to make hasty decisions.
It’s also simpler to wager on for an extended time with just a tiny bit of cash since, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards face up and the casino is dealt 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
