Internet poker has become world famous lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the house instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer saying "No more bets." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the other players acquire five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to either make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original ante, which means that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes directly to the dealer. After the wager is the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with an amount equal to the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out cash even with your bet and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
