Online poker has become globally famous recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or other types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier broadcasting "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the other players receive 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your original ante, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The house pays money even with your bet and controlled odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
