No-Limit Texas Hold’em Poker- Howard Lederer?

Howard Lederer was born into in a family of five where he enjoyed playing numerous card games when he was young. He discovered himself becoming really competitive in the above-mentioned card games as he was playing his dad. The Mayfair was a bridge and backgammon club where the best gamblers would regularly wager against each other. Howard was able to access several of the foremost players in chess. With their assistance, Howard would sharpen his logical thinking skills. He applied these strategic ideas to the game of No-Limit hold’em.

Howard also assisted his sister Annie Duke learn the game of poker. Annie was a great student of poker as she would consistently be asking questions about the right way to make the correct decision. He told Annie to move out to Sin City and compete in the WSOP competition. Annie is one of the strongest women players the poker arena today. Howard Lederer headed to Sin City in 1993 and played cash games for the next decade. When the WPT gained popularity, he decided to participate in more tournaments.
